RAPHAEL<RAY> ROHNER

Raphael «Ray» Rohner is a swiss photojournalist who takes pictures since he is a child. When he was 15, he started to work in a butchery to earn money for his very first own camera: A Minolta Dimage Z1. He also started step by step to take pictures for some small regional newspapers and for private customers and got more and more jobs to do.

«One evening, while I was shooting a reportage in a circus, my boss saw me with a camera, instead my knife – i still worked in the butchery – so my boss told me, I should start working for the media», Rohner explains. photography

Rohner worked for most mayor media companies in Switzerland and also for several companies in France, USA and Germany. His pictures are shown in Newspapers, magazines and in small galleries and museums.
